At Legacy, we will be intentional to reach into our community and into our world to minister in various ways – being “hands on” with service projects, providing food, supplies, etc., as a church body and individually.
LOCAL MISSIONS/MINISTRY:
BROAD RIVER FELLOWSHIP OF CHRISTIAN ATHLETES. FCA is a community working to see the world transformed by Jesus Christ through the influence of coaches and athletes. They seek to make disciples through engaging, equipping and empowering coaches and athletes to know and grow in Christ and lead others to do the same. Legacy Baptist supports this ministry with a monthly financial gift and through prayer.
MADISON COUNTY FOOD BANK. The Madison County Food Bank provides food boxes for the hungry in our community. It is through the donations of individuals, businesses and churches that make this possible. Legacy Baptist supports this ministry with a monthly financial gift and through prayer.
CAMP MARANATHA. Camp Maranatha provides a Christian camp for kids each summer where hundreds of children come to faith in Christ. INTERNATIONAL MINISTRIES:
Legacy Blessed Ministries in Soroti, Uganda. Pastor Justine Elianu – a church planter at heart, has planted 7 churches in villages across Uganda. Legacy Baptist supports this body of believers financially and through prayer.
Living Rock Church in Eldoret, Kenya. Pastor William Okola, is passionate about reaching families for Jesus. Pastor William also leads a Band of Brothers Ministry in Africa. Legacy Baptist supports this body of believers financially and through prayer.
Ordain Welfare Trust, Kolkata, India. Paresh Haldar and Shalom Church are spreading the gospel of Christ in several villages in India. Legacy Baptist supports this body of believers financially and through prayer.
